Water temperatures are hovering in the mid-60s. We have experienced some "negative" low tides recently due to northwesterly winds, which has actually been a benefit for inshore anglers. Speckled Trout: The "Gator" Trout are active! We are finding the larger specimens in 3 to 6 feet of water over mixed grass and sand bottoms. Slow-sinking mirrolures and live shrimp under a popping cork have been the go-to choices for consistent action.
